Miners monitor transaction broadcasts within the network, compiling them into a block. Each block consists of a mathematical puzzle that demands substantial computational effort to solve. The solution involves guessing a number, or 'nonce,' which, combined with the block's data and processed through a hash function, generates an output meeting specific criteria.
